So you’ve always wanted to attend a tweetup, but couldn’t find a convenient evening to go out. Well, the Bring a Tweep to Lunch Friday Tweetup Series is for you.
Each week during the summer, there’ll be a Friday lunch time tweetup. Added bonus? it will be held at a different eatery around St. Louis each week. And we aren’t talking St. Louis city.
So far St. Louis Twitter fans have gathered at Dickey’s BBQ, St. Louis Bread Company, and this week at Hacienda on Manchester. Next up is Feraro’s Pizza. Variety in food and location is key.
Requirements to attend? Just show up. You don’t have to eat anything, though it’ll be hard to pass up the temptation at most places. I do recommend besides bringing an appetite you bring business cards.
Business cards? That’s right. Each get together is a chance to cement those virtual relationships into personal ones. A step beyond that is turning idle chatter into a business partnership. It’s already happening after just a few Fridays.
