KSDK – A Metro East judge heard a motion last Wednesday to force social networking site Facebook to produce records involving a former local police officer.The St. Louis Police Department fired Bryan Pour after two people got hurt in a fight and shooting outside a Pontoon Beach bar in 2008.Pour faces a felony charge of aggravated battery with a firearm and up to 30 years in jail in connection with the incident.An attorney for Pour now want to force Facebook to disclose profiles and any messages exchanged between people involved in the 2008 incident or witnesses, including investigators.Facebook has refused to release the requested evidence, citing the Electronic Communications Privacy Act of 2000.An Edwardsville judge heard arguments from both sides Wednesday afternoon but made no decision. The judge said both sides raised what appear to be valid arguments but said he would rule on the motion at a later date.
