I couldn’t ignore it any longer.
Facebook seems to be cracking down on using the Facebook profile for business purposes and (to make my decision easier) I have always suspected that I was misusing my profile for business purposes. As I began to see more and more internet marketers that I respect moving their business communications to a Facebook fan page, I decided to make the move myself.
In the process, I learned a lot that may benefit you if you have or plan to have a Facebook page for your organization. If you don’t know how to build a fan page, this 5 minute video will guide you through the process.
Integrating Your Blog Content
The first thing I wanted to do was to feed the content from my blog into my fan page. This way, any fans of my page would begin to receive updates from my blog in their Facebook profile news feed.
The process is fairly simple.
Start by clicking on “Edit Page” on the Wall of your Facebook fan page.
Now, scroll down to the section called “Notes” and click on “Edit.”
On the right side of this page, click on the link called “Import a blog.”
Type the RSS feed of your blog into the field called “Web URL” and click on “Start Importing.”
You’re almost done! After verifying that your blog feed has been imported click on “Confirm Import.”
Congratulations your blog feed has been integrated into your Fan Page!

Hi Russ! Thanks again for a great Meetup yesterday with the “Tiny Business, Mighty Profits” group. When you asked if everyone had tied their blogs to their Facebook Fan Page, I thought I had already completed this step, but when I returned home, I realized that I had not. This tutorial was excellent and very easy to follow! Thank you.
