Interview With The Organizer of St. Louis’ Largest Tweetup Ever

The largest ever? The event has not happened yet, but in talking with Rex Gradeless, one of the organizers, that is a mere technicality. Rex and his partner on this event, Brandon Prebynski have high hopes for their Tweetup on July 3rd at McGurks, in the Soulard neighborhood of St. Louis and are certain that their event will be large. I hope they are right.

I thought it might be fun to have Rex answer a few questions about the event, and as you will see, it is clear event is clearly all about having a good time. So check out the details and plan to be there.

Who is behind this event?

Everyone attending is behind this event! The event organizers are @Rex7, who has the most Twitter followers in St. Louis and @Prebynski who has the largest Twitter Following in Indianapolis!

What lead to the idea?

The last week has been very hot in St. Louis. What better way to celebrate Independence Day than to meet new people at McGurks?! Someone call the Guinness Book of World Records.

Do you think it will be the largest St. Louis Tweetup ever?

Yes. There is no question. People can invite anyone and everyone to come and have a good time. The Riverfront Times tweeted the event here.

Your invitation site says St. Louis is the blogging capital of the country, why do you think that?

St. Louis, Missouri Crowned “Blawg City, USA” Who could disagree with Dennis?!

Is there any cost to attend?

McGurks has confirmed there is no cover charge. ADMISSION TO THIS EVENT IS TOTALLY FREE! (pay for your own drinks/food) McGurks will be setting aside tables for the TweetUp and is ready to serve the entire city of St. Louis!

Who should attend?

Everyone. St. Louis, Indianapolis, Twitter users, Twitter non-users, Mayor Slay, and Albert Pujols. The purpose of this event is to meet people in person!

Is there any kind of program or presentation? Or is it all about having fun?

There will be a three hour lecture on the metaphysical demands that Twitter reputes into the intrinsic behaviors of human interaction – JUST KIDDING!! This event is for enjoyment, networking, laughs, music, and good times!

Anything else you want to mention?

Just that we look forward to meeting everyone at the Largest St. Louis Tweet Up Ever! Bring a twitter badge if you like.
And here is the Event page.
