Nocs looks just like Notepad, the standard Windows text utility that has been around forever. However, Nocs connects itself with your Google Docs account, saving your text notes there instead of to your local computer.
You can even encrypt the files before sending them off to Google.
I downloaded it, connected it to my Google account and had it working in under one minute, so it is very simple to use.
The biggest issue I saw was that each of the notes you write are saved to a single spreadsheet in Google Docs, but this is going to be addressed in the next version, according to the software author’s Twitter stream.
Nocs is free and open source, and can be found here.
