LinkedIn is a service that I have neglected, frankly, and I am trying to change that. I am starting to take it a little more seriously and pay more attention to it. And might I suggest that if you are marketing yourself or your business, you should do the same. Why? Partly because there are some great St. Louis networking groups and I am seeing more and more great business events pop up over there.
For example, there is a group I belong to on LinkedIn called the River City Professionals. This is a networking group of young professionals in St. Louis that holds networking events on the third Tuesday of each month. We are going to start highlighting those here in the future, but for now, this post is spotlighting another event found within the group’s pages.
The Saint Louis Small Business Meetup Group is hosting a presentation entitled “How to protect your ideas and technology to help your busines grow“. This will be an overview of intellectual property covering trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets and patents. The presentation will be given by Sanjay Agrawal.
