‘Social Media and Family, A Dad’s Perspective’ Event Coming to St. Louis

IF you have been reading this blog at all, you have heard us talk about The Social Media Club of St. Louis. Well, through no fault of your own, it may never have occurred to you that they are the local chapter of the larger, parent Social Media Club organization. Not the kind of thing you really need to know to get through your day – I realize that. It’s foundation for what I am about to tell you.

My point, and I do have one, is that the founder of the Social Media Club, Chris Heuer, is embarking on a tour through all the local Social Media Club chapters, hosting a series of events entitled “Social Media + Family, A Dad’s Perspective“.

They will be “facilitating a conversation among insightful dads who blog and among the local social media community to discuss if and how social media is bringing dad’s closer to their families and keeping families more connected, or making their lives more challenging”.

The details are not completely all ironed out yet, if you are interested you should probably keep an eye on the Social Media Club site, but the tour is scheduled to hit St. Louis on September 23 and there looks to be some ancillary events for dad bloggers too.

Again, my advice would be to follow Chris and the Social Media Club link above for the particulars if you are interested, but we will pass along anything we hear.
