We were just tipped to this event. This Sunday, October 4th at 2 p.m., local social media users are going to meet at the Country Store at the Belleville Eckert’s for an Apple Picking Tweetup.
It is the first of it’s kind as far as we are aware.

This turned out quite well. Tweeps showed up from all over to pick apples, shop the general store and dine at the restaurant. Several pounds of apples were picked, plenty of pictures snapped, and an apple or two chomped.
Fun time. More events like this would be welcomed.
