FROM THE EDITOR — In about a week, this humble little blog will hit the four month old mark, and just like with a real baby, you need to get a check up every once in a while to make sure everything is as it should be. So we just want to take a moment to give you an update and ask for some feedback.
Since conceiving of this site back in May, there has been nearly constant tinkering with it…nothing major, just adding a new widget here, removing one there. All of that has been done to try and improve the site, and make it more useful to you. We have gradually moved from solely covering local social media events to incorporating pertinent technology news as well. To that end, we have decided to amend the name to The St. Louis Social Media & Tech Report. (Because obviously, if anything, it needed to be a little longer.)
Considering we have only been around a brief time, we are pretty happy with the results so far. In September, our traffic doubled from August. And that has been a continuing trend all along, and we need to thank you for that.
We want to encourage you to keep submitting your events and news tips. We will keep bringing you timely and interesting information to keep you informed about social media and technology, and their impact on St. Louis. And we have some big ideas we are working on, too.
Also, we would like to encourage you, if you are so inclined, to take a minute and let us know if you have any comments or suggestions. We would love to hear from you.
Thank you for being a reader and please help us spread the word!
